Here is a good piece of news within the Montreal Canadiens organization. Forward Luke Tuch is progressing well toward an eventual return to play, and he will be an important reinforcement for the organization.

First of all, because he’s an important player for Pascal Vincent and the Laval Rocket, but also because it could allow Kent Hughes to bring some offensive reinforcements to Montreal.

We know it’s very important for the Canadiens’ GM not to harm the farm team too much, but knowing that the Rocket will soon get Luke Tuch back in the lineup, it could allow Hughes to call up a forward (who would then be replaced by Tuch in Laval).

It’s a possibility to keep an eye on.

Things are looking promising ahead of their playoff push!

This is very good news.

“It’s good to see Luke Tuch back at Laval Rocket practice today in a non-contact jersey.

He’s been out with a lower-body injury for a month and a half.

He hasn’t played a single game since February 7.”

Now on defense, regarding Logan Mailloux, let’s remember that the news was unfortunately much less encouraging.

Luke Tuch, 23 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall and 215 pounds, was a second-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2020.

He has 11 points in 35 games this season with the Laval Rocket, along with 40 penalty minutes.

More details to follow.
