We have an update regarding the potential return of Montreal Canadiens defenseman Kaiden Guhle.

According to the latest reports, there was uncertainty as to whether he’d even return to play this season-but in light of this new development, I think it’s safe to say Guhle will be back!

On this Monday morning, with 13 games remaining in the Canadiens’ season, Kaiden Guhle is practicing at 100% with his teammates-and he’s wearing a regular jersey too!

This is the final step before returning to game action.

Kaiden Guhle is about to return as a key reinforcement

We’re likely to get more information in the next few minutes during head coach Martin St-Louis’ scheduled press conference, but the signs are very promising.

Of course, with Guhle returning to the lineup, another defenseman will unfortunately have to sit out.

Will it be Jayden Struble, Arber Xhekaj, or even David Savard?

We’ll get the answer soon enough, but don’t be surprised if Martin St-Louis uses a bit of rotation on the blue line to close out the season.

“Defenseman Kaiden Guhle is taking part in his first full practice this morning in Brossard since undergoing surgery to repair a quadriceps muscle laceration on January 29.”

This will indeed be a massive luxury reinforcement for Martin St-Louis’ squad, who likely thought Guhle’s season was over.

Guhle, 23 years old, has recorded 14 points in 44 games this season, with a +2 rating.

He’s unquestionably one of the most important players on this team!

More details to follow.
